In conjunction with his work at ISL, he mentors researchers via MATS, Heron, Pivotal, and other programs. He holds a master&rsquo;s degree in computer science.</p> <h3 id="tom-gardiner-staff-director">Tom Gardiner, Staff Director</h3> <p>Tom supports the Board of Directors on Governance matters, provides management counsel to the Executive Director, and assists with running the Operations department.</p>
